ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
Eligibility & Criteria
The award of scholarship takes the form of a 25% waiver on tuition fees only. The scholarship is not a cash award.
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP (GRADE 7)
The award of scholarship takes the form of a 25% waiver on tuition fees only. The scholarship is not a cash award.
- Must be enrolled and accepted as a full-time student at Sunway International Schools.
- Must fulfil the academic requirements as follows:
- Must have obtained six (6) As in the following subjects in Grade 6 (Ontario) or Year 7 (Cambridge) or equivalent final schooling results:
- English (Comprehension and Writing), AND
- Mathematics, AND
- Science; AND
- three (3) other subjects (only one (1) second language may be counted)
- Must have good record of discipline and conduct.
- Open to both Malaysian and International student applicants
- All documents relevant to the scholarship must be endorsed by parents and/or relevant authorities

- Must fulfil the academic requirements as follows:

For full-time Malaysian and International students who have completed their primary school education and applying for admission into Year 8 for the January / July intake every year.
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP (YEAR 10)
The award of scholarship takes the form of a 25% or 100% waiver on tuition fee only. The scholarship is not a cash award.
- Admissions or progression into Year 10 Cambridge Programme
- Must be enrolled and accepted as a full-time student at Sunway International Schools.
- Must fulfil the academic requirements as follows:
- (i) Must have obtained minimum 6As or 80% in at least 6 subjects in Year 9 final school results for 25% waiver in tuition fee or
- (i) Must have obtained minimum 6As or 80% in at least 6 subjects in Year 9 final school results for 25% waiver in tuition fee or
- English,
- Mathematics,
- Science (AND)
- Six (6) other subjects
- Candidate is required to attend an interview and write a personal essay (at least one page long) on why you deserve this scholarship.
- Must have good record of discipline and conduct.
- Open to both Malaysian and International student applicants
- All documents relevant to the scholarship must be endorsed by parents and/or relevant authorities
Full-time Malaysian and International students who have completed their primary school education and applying for admission into Grade 7 Canadian Programme for the January / July intake every year.
For full-time Malaysian and International students who have completed their primary school education and applying for admission into Year 10 Cambridge Programme for the January / July intake every year.
